Description
Image of six head-and-shoulders portraits of the two female and four male members of the comic troupe Salsbury's Troubadours wearing formal dress, in oval frames surrounded by plants, a crane, a turtle, and two anthropomorphized singing frogs; the portraits are unlabeled but presumably include troupe members Nate Salsbury, Nellie McHenry, and John L. Webster.
Margins trimmed on local copy; date range supplied by cataloger based on years Nate Salsbury operated the comic troupe ("Reminiscences by Nate Salsbury" in the Journal of American Drama and Theatre, Vol. 5, Issue 1 [Winter 1993], page 5).
