Opening day of the MTA Orange Line at the North Hollywood Metro Red Line Park and Ride, located at 5350 Lankershim Blvd. Here, Zev Yaroslavsky is being interviewed by a local television station, with one of the large buses directly behind. The Orange Line travels 14 miles, from Warner Center to North Hollywood. Zev Yaroslavsky is the Los Angeles County Supervisor for the Third District, elected on June 1994. Prior to that, he served on the Los Angeles City Council from 1975 to 1994. Mr. Yaroslavsky is also an MTA board member. Photograph dated October 28, 2005.
