The back of the photograph reads, "Individually created planter made on potter's wheel with self-hardening ceramic material by Art Sherman, Santa Ana, planted with giant Century Plant blossoms, arranged by Jean McBurney, Claremont. Sculpture is a grey and borwn terra cotta owl by Robert Ortlieb, Los Angeles."
