Description
Father William Riker (center) flanked by two other men in suits wearing shoulder-holstered placards advertising "The Devils Newspaper The Worlds Greatest Read It 5c 1364 So. Figueroa St." [The two men are identified in a similar image from a separate collection as Anderson and Ed Caulfield. See 2007-30-9] The three men are standing on the lawn of 1364 South Figueroa, a Victorian row house adorned with signs: "Investigate" ; "P.C.D.W. School of Mastery" ; Perfect Christian Divine Way World's Greatest Philosophy". A sign posted in the grass advertises meetings Sundays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. "In spite of all your hate for one another all men are one flesh."
