Description
This circa 1937 postcard view of downtown Sacramento focuses on the State Capitol with an inset of the Travelers Hotel. A printed description on the back of the card reads, "Fireproof - Newly Furnished, Rates From $1.50, John R. Points, Manager." The hotel opened in 1914, and underwent renovations in 1937.
