Description
Photograph shows a selection of electronic equipment on display. There are cameras, portable radios, portable record players, and batteries. The display includes various travel themes: there are nets with fish, a covered wagon, and at the base of the displayare several toy cars. Plants are arranged throughout. The signs read: "Campi Music Co." "It's great going! with R.C.A. portables," "It makes no difference where you go or how you travel... There is just the right R.C.A. portable for you!" "New RCA batteries and tubes for all portables." Campi Music Company was located in downtown San Jose and Valley Fair Shopping Center also in San Jose. In addition to selling equipment, it also sold records. Listening kiosks were available for customers to listen to records before purchase. Scanned with Microtek Scanmaker 1000XL Pro; as a 600 dpi TIFF image in 8-bit Grayscale. Auto Level image processing applied and compressed into JPEG format using Photoshop CS3.
