Description
Strawberry Point School, located at 117 East Strawberry Drive, opened in 1952 with seven classrooms. Four more were added in 1955. This photo was taken in 1967. The school was closed in 1990 as school enrollment dropped, but was refurbished and reopened in the Fall of 2000 when the number of school-age children in Mill Valley swelled in the late 1990s. There is a second version of this photo, MVU2112, which appears to be the same photograph printed in reverse.
