Photograph caption dated July 14, 1960 reads, "Score board at the Sports Arena tells the story after Wyoming cast its vote, giving Kennedy a total of 765 votes (arrow), enough to make him the Democratic Presidential nominee. On the rostrum, Florida Gov. LeRoy Collins (left) checks the tally with reading clerk Emory Frazier, Chief Clerk of the U.S. Senate. The final balloting gave Kennedy 806 votes."
