Description
A large group of people wearing festive clothing have gathered on the grounds outside the Mission Revival/Islamic style Hollywood residence of artist Paul de Longpre´ (1855-1911). This home, located on the west side of Cahuenga Blvd. at Hollywood Blvd., included an extensive flower garden made up of about 4,000 roses. Many tourists and students visited the home to enjoy the personal art gallery and gardens. American and French flags fly above the home for this special celebration. The home was demolished in 1927.
