View of a large structural arch at Kearny street and Sutter street taken on the Fourth of July in 1876, in San Francisco. Banner says "The French Residents Commemorate a Century of Liberty" and portraits above show George Washington and the Marquis de LaFayette. The Street and arch are decorated with French and American flags, wreaths, and garlands are draped on the arch. People and horse-drawn carriages are in the street below. Negative, no. 19,699 (4x5 in.)
