Photo--sepia--possibly carte de visite: Albertine Charpiat Hoffstetter (d 1924) circa 1875 shortly before coming to America. Albertine's second husband was Gottlieb Dietrich (1836-1902) Both Albertine and Gottlieb are buried in Sebastopol Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Belfort & Montbeliard (France) listed back of photo; photographer mostly likely was Ch. Pernelle, a well-established photographer in the area during that time.
