Description
A book commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Pasadena Buddhist Temple in 1968. The book contains photographs and information on the members and leadership of the temple, as well as the history and highlights of their activities. The book highlights the various clubs, associations, and classes associated with the temple. The book contains advertisements and congratulations from local businesses and community members. The membership directory pages were removed. The Nishimura and Nagata Family Papers contains items relating to the history of the Pasadena Buddhist Church, including photos of events and groups associated with the church like the Pasadena Buddhist Women's Association, the Young Buddhist League (BL), various Buddhist Church conferences, Judo competitions, and Kendo competitions. Materials also relate to the incarceration of the Nagata family at the Heart Mountain incarceration camp in Cody, Wyoming and include photographs of the family.
