Description
Mill Valley Plaza where the Depot Books and Café is now located. This is the original site of the train depot for North Pacific Coast Railroad and the Mt. Tam & Muir Woods railroad of 1898. The Plaza is an inspiration and idea of Mill Valley citizens to bring back some of the atmosphere in the town center which existed 50 years ago. Work began on the project shortly after Labor Day in 1982 and the dedication was in November of the same year.
