Photograph caption dated September 4, 1963 reads, "The Granada Hills Little League All-Stars, world champions of Little League baseball, were honored Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium, where they watched the Dodgers beat Houston, 4-3, in thrilling 10-inning game. With team and coaches in picture is Dodger outfielder and Valley resident Wally Moon (right). Little Leaguers won championship on Aug. 24 by beating Stratford, Conn., but to get to finals they also had to beat a Houston team, and also in extra innings."
