Photograph caption dated August 24, 1956 reads "Important military personages cut ribbon to dedicate $3,000,000 Valley guided missile research and development center--Turbo Division of American Machine and Foundry Company which has headquarters in New York. Left to right are Bennett W. Wright, plant manager; General Ira C. Eaker, General Walter Bedell Smith and General Omar N. Bradley." The center is located at 10445 Glenoaks Boulevard in Pacoima.
