Spanish Colonial style room features arched window alcove and sideboard with mirror -- 1992-5446 (173-59). Fountain in patio. Tiered fountain with tile work and depiction of Modonna and Child in center surrounded by carved stone figures of lions. 173-42 is listed in Mott index as Desmond residence, not Root residence. Also have negatives: no. 25, 963 (4x5 in.) for 1992-5445; and, 25,964 (4x5 in.) for 1992-5446.
