Description: "Steven Soliah (L) and Sheldon Otis (R) joke with photographers outside federal court where Soliah faces charges of bank robbery. Otis is holding a stuffed toy bird on Soliah's shoulder. The toy was later given to Assistant US Attorney Richard Nichols who is prosecuting the case. At the afternoon session Judge Philip Wilkins denied defense reguests for a hearing into what Patricia Hearst has told government investigators about the robbery."
