Description
2018-0788. Reproduction of oil painting by N. Paul Petrovits. Andres Pico was born in San Diego in 1810. Was rancher, fought in the Mexican American War, in 1851 elected to California State Assembly, authored a bill to divide the State, in 1860 elected to California State Senate. Lived in Los Angeles, died in 1876.
