Description
Boucicault writes to a Mr. Rosier, an English actor. Boucicault tells Rosier that he cannot give Rosier an answer regarding an engagement until he speaks with his agent in New York, where he will soon arrive. He can, however, inform Rosier about pay scales and the the terms of a season's engagement; the highest salary is $60 a week, the lowest $15, and the season is 34 weeks long.
