Description
Photograph caption dated February 6, 1958 reads "Louis S. Nohl Jr., 26, of Olive, Calif., is helped onto stretcher by police and firemen after he managed to get clear of flaming wreckage of crashed helicopter which he had been learning to fly so he could manage a helicopter company in Brazil." The accident happened at Whiteman Airport in Pacoima. See images 00155934 through 00155936 for all photos in this series.
