Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated June 16, 1962 partially reads "Two carloads of Valley beauties wave hello to everyone who will be attending the Mission Hills Summer Festival Saturday at Doric Mission Inn, Mission Hills. A motorcade of (sic) shopping areas Friday for a special preview (sic) 40 lovelies will drive through Mission Hills prior to the contest at 1 p.m. the next day. A women's and men's fashion show will be held in conjunction with the beauty pageant. Pageant judges will include Merry Anders, Mission Hills honorary mayor, and Brad Johnson, honorary sheriff."
