Description
"Safeway Stores, Inc., already has begun work on this, its 12th supermarket in the Sacramento area. The 33,920 square foot structure is to rise on a six acre site at the southeast corner of Florin Road and 24th Street, and 23,771 square feet of its floor space will be devoted to sales area. The structure was designed by Sacramento architect Tod Hart and is being built under a $331,000 construction contract by Lawrence Construction Company, Sacramento. A Safeway official said it will be the first of the chain's area stores to include a snack bar. The parking lot will accomodate more that 300 automobiles"
