Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph caption dated October 30, 1953 reads "North Hollywood Clothier Nate Burmen, 62, had two customers after more than pair of slacks. Two gunmen leveled pistols at Burmen in his store at 6035 Lankershim Blvd. They took $75, five pairs of slacks, one suit. After binding Burmen with cord he holds, they fled."
