Description
Photograph of a view of the roadstead where ships anchor, Joppa (now Jaffa Tel-Aviv), Palestine, ca.1900-1910 A small boat manned by several people appears on the water in the foreground, while other vessels sit by the docking area before a vast city. The city is mainly composed of squared structures, with a few pointed towers added to the mix, and a lone palm tree can be seen at the outskirts, at left. The background is otherwise neutral.
