Description
On a "waiting strike" to impress the Los Angeles county board of supervisors with their demands, women recently dismissed from a Works Progress Administration sewing project because of a slashing of federal funds, are shown waiting outside the office of Supervisor Leland Ford in the Hall of Records. They waited to present their demands for aid. Photo dated: February 24, 1938.
