Description
Photograph of an exploded sewer in San Francisco following the earthquake, [s.d.]. Piles of dirt topped with pieces of furniture lie in the foreground with a skeletal tree on the far right. People walk through the street behind it with buildings behind them. A large, tall building stands on the left with an arched entrance and long, rectangular windows. More earthquake damage can be seen in the buildings in the background at center with the electrical poles standing in tact in front of them. The "sewer blew up with gas at time of quake".
