Description
Photograph of the mole at Zeebrugge showing the S.S. Brussels and the lighthouse, ca.1915. The scuttled Brussels is mostly submerged in the water at left. Only its smokestacks and part of its superstructure are visible. The Zeebrugge mole is at center and stretches out toward the ocean away from the camera. The lighthouse is on the end of it in the distance. In the foreground, a coastal artillery gun looks out over the harbor at right.
