Description
Portrait of Alexander Sporleder with date referenced as 11/11/1953 although it says photo taken Feb 1958. Lucy Mercer donated many family photos of the Lotte Sporleder McWatters (died in 2001) family. Lotte McWatters was a long time advocate for local artists, and director of the art galleries at the Marin Civic Center, and an accomplished artist. McWatters and her husband, Thomas (died 1992) had no children.
