(both copies) View of the interior of the Palace Hotel in San Francisco (taken in the hallway on the top floor surrounding the large open center space). Four men are sitting and leaning on rocking chairs, and the railings beyond are decorated with plantings in urns and statuary. The roof above appears to be made of glass.
