Profile of the band Stompy Jones, featured in Petaluma's Petaluma Music Festival. Stompy Jones includes Marin-based pianist Scott Lawrence, standup-bassist David Rose, trumpeter Robert Dehlinger, drummer Lee Beary, and vocalist Christopher Binnings. Also noted as Festival performers are Devil Makes Three, The Mother Hips, Cornmeal, Big Sam's Funky Nation, SambaDa, Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers, Big Light, Red Meat, Hillside Fire, Craig Horton, Smokehouse Gamblers, Fire Child, Skylark, Kala and the Peter Welker Sextet.
