Description: Burbankers having a picnic. Image caption reads "Picnics in the hills above Burbank were popular with the young people. On Sunday afternoons they used their bicycles to travel to a picnic site under live oak trees. This image came from a collection of images donated by the Delores Palmer Estate. She was a BUSD employee for many years and authored the book "A History of Burbank."
