Description
This is a black and white of Thaddeus Welch's cabin in Steep Ravine on the slope of Mount Tamalpais. The artist and his wife, Ludmilla, lived here from 1894 through 1904. In foreground is a water wheel that supplied the cabin with water from Webb Creek. The water wheel was built by Thaddeus Welch.
