Description: This circa 1996 postcard provides an aerial view of the Tower Bridge and well into West Sacramento and Yolo County. In the left foreground, and built in 1961, is the 15-story 203-unit Capitol Towers Garden Apartments at 1500 Seventh Street. In the lower, right-hand corner is the International Business Machines building at 520 Capitol Mall. Built in 1963, the structure was sold in 1993 to the Sacramento City Unified School District. Just beyond that is the Wells Fargo headquarters at 500 Capitol Mall.
