Photo--color: Military photo of Spec-4 Edward G. Rainford (1946-1968) in 1968. Rainford was wounded and later died in Vietnam. Rainford was a resident of Sebastopol and graduated from Analy High School. Sebastopol resident Spec-4 Edward George Rainford was wounded in combat on June 13, 1968 and was helicoptered to the USS Hope. Rainford was able to call home a few days before he died. He is interred at Calvary Cemetery in Santa Rosa. Rainford attented Analy High School and was one of 12 children of Mr. & Mrs. John Rainford.
