Description
Notes with photo indicate: Trucks, power shovels, scrapers, bulldozers and men who move mountains are swarming over the Folsom Dam site as the giant project begins to take shape. A shovel (subject photo) bites rock and dirt out of one of the abutment sites. In the background, the American River flows by. Approximately 500 persons visit the project each weekend.
