Description
Scope/Content: General Hospital No. 30 band, World War II, Mansfield, England. Walter Birnbaum on banjo and Melford Jorgensen on sax. Allen Palmer (at far right) was the leader. The 30th General (Base Hospital 30) was a division of the US Army during World War I and World War II. It included UC health professionals, doctors, nurses, and dentists.
