Photograph caption dated June 27, 1961 reads, "Power Puff Derby entrants - Mrs. William Savory, left, of Van Nuys, poses with her houseguest, Mrs. Nancy Bird Walton, of Sydney, Australia, after a test run of the Piper Comanche they will fly in the July 8 All Women's International Air-race. Mrs. Savory was the 1949 Derby winner and Mrs. Walton is her country's leading aviatrix. Valley Pilots furnished the plane for the annual event which begins in San Diego, ending in Atlantic City."
