This home was built for the occupancy of George and Mary Charleston. Mr. Charleston passed away on the eve of their occupancy, and Mrs. Charleston would not move to the home. It remained empty for six years before Dr. C.O. Gates and family occupied it. It was located on the east side of Casto St, near Dana Ave. Built 1888, moved 1945. Mountain View
