Photograph caption dated August 23, 1957 reads, "A two-story addition will be completed in November for the San Fernando Valley Commercial & Savings Bank at 13657 Van Nuys Blvd. Shown breaking ground for the new addition are, from left, D. P. Loomis, president and organizer of the present bank; Kenneth Lynch, Cliff Wefel, Walter Schrein, general contractor for the project; Dick Brown, E. H. Rufer, Dr. E. J. Phillips, William Welch, Gene Rinaldi, Pauline Taylor of the Pacoima Chamber of Commerce, and Guy Johnson, president of the Pacoima branch. Two additional records vaults, bookkeeping department and other facilities will be incorporated in the 15x80-foot addition."
