Photograph caption dated May 25, 1963 reads "The 1963 King and Queen of the Valley Teen Center, Audrey Waxman, left, and Wing Kumler, both 17, give a report on the amount of money collected for a proposed 26,000-square-foot addition to the center, located at 17400 Victory Blvd., Van Nuys. The report, presented at a campaign kickoff meeting Thursday at the center, shows that $22,634--8 per cent of the needed $285,000--has been collected. Disc jockey Johnny Grant was the master of ceremonies at the meeting."
