Description
John W. Bachmann, senior partner of Edward D. Jones & Co., is interviewed on his relationship with Drucker that began in 1981. Drucker impressed Bachmann with his assertion that the affect of demographic patterns on business is a worldwide phenomenon. Bachmann discusses how Drucker brings an “element of the humane” to management education when he talks about workers dignity, contributions and responsibility. Drucker believed management education should be thought of in terms of people’s dignity.
