Description
Believed to be an Allan B. DuMont cathode ray tube. "206" and "Special" are written on the tube and base. Dumont is best known for his 1931 improvements to the cathode ray tube as a television receiver. In 1938, his Model 180 was the first all-electric television set sold to the general public.
