Photograph caption dated July 2, 1962 reads, "Lanni, a Weimaraner owned by Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Stewart of Van Nuys, is helping provide guide dogs for the blind by attending obedience classes. Mrs. Stewart, left, and Mrs. Barry Schuman, Canoga Park, proudly display one of the 32 trophies Lanni, whose registered name is Countess Illanna Von Mitya, CDX, has won in dog shows. Stewart is president of the Companion Dog Training Club in North Hollywood and Woodland Hills, which conducts obedience classes, the proceeds of which are donated to Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Raphael."
