At left, a man in a hat bends to pick up some snow, while a man beside him holds a snowball in his right hand, poised for throwing. A woman next to him holds a ball of snow in her hands. Another man prepares to throw some snow from the rightmost side of the picture. In the background is a blanket of snow with the trunks of trees poking out of it.
