Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph article dated June 18, 1962 partially reads, "..it's Joe Sirianni, newly-elected president of the Sylmar Chamber of Commerce. Joe took over the reins of the chamber in midstream after president Gerald Fontaine was transfered out of Sylmar in his job. And talking to Sirianni is like watching a person handle a set of reins. 'If we are going to progress,' he starts, clenching his fists, 'we have to have industries here....'"
