Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated April 3, 1963 reads, "Green beans are included on Norwegian dinner menu." The article partially reads, "When Mrs. Thora Wedler came to this country more than 40 years ago, she brought with her a knowledge of cooking traditional to her native Oslo, Norway. These traditions are maintained in the home she shares with her husband, Brig. E. H. Wedler, next door to the Salvation Army Headquarters in Van Nuys. Mrs. Wedler, also a brigadier and her husband are commanding officers of the army's Van Nuys corps, a church and community center at 14933 Van Nuys Blvd."; See images #00117055 through #00117057 for all photos in this series.
