Probable date range based on general show history and dates of similar newspaper advertisements; Barlow, Wilson & Rankin's Minstrels were advertised in 1885 before advertisements of Wilson & Rankin's Minstrels appeared in 1886, and George Wilson's Minstrels began in 1888 (Rice, Monarchs of Minstrelsy, page 172).
