Photograph caption dated December 24, 1954 reads, "Understandably anxious over whether their fireplace chimney is large enough to admit Santa Claus, Peter and David Paulson have resorted to the yardstick to make some quick measurements to allay their fears. Things seem to be working out alright and it is expected that St. Nick will make it without too great a squeeze."
