Description
Set aglow in this evening shot from circa 1990, are, left, the original Bank Exchange Saloon and Union Hotel, resting at the northwest corner of Second and K streets. Also visible are reenactors in antebellum garb and the terrace of Cafe La Salle, a 1890s-era purveyor of traditional French foods.
