Description
This is a photograph of an image printed in a book about historical figures. The man is not identified but may be significant in the history of Pasadena or its school system. The photograph was taken on May 26, 1955, and was ordered by The Photo Engravers, located at 107 West Mary Street. The Photo Engravers was a business run by John L. and Daniel B. Taylor. According to the 1955 Pasadena City Directory, Daniel lived with his wife Dorothy at 3855 Canfield Road, while John lived in Monrovia. The location where the photograph was taken is not clear. The original negative was badly damaged and is no longer available.
